Cotton Vs Polyester ~ Is the dryfit gilet a high-performance option? Why take the time to look at the materials in which a garment is made. Personally, I much prefer to wear polyester (dryfit) clothes for several reasons.
Why is Cotton less recommended? A cotton cardigan that you are sure you won’t sweat will actually keep you warmer and warmer on a night out outside by a fire. On the other hand, if you make several trips in a day, your risk of sweating is very high and the cotton will absorb this moisture which will remain in the fabric and stick to your skin. It’s not for nothing that the term moisture kills is often used! Cotton takes longer to dry and becomes heavy due to all the water in it.
The dryfit jacket for perspiration, humidity and morale!
It’s the same principle with socks, why do you think you freeze feet so easily? Simple because you sweat on your feet and again the humidity does not emerge and keeps you cold, which once again will have an impact on your morale, concentration, shivering and movement. Throughout my military career, I have tried many types and styles of socks and my biggest surprise was that wearing simple thin non-cotton stockings did the JOB! Much easier to dry and the weight which is simply not considerable.
The thin, elastic, compact and ultra-fast drying dryfit fabric
A thin, elastic, compact and ultra-fast drying fabric will take longer to perceive body odor because the fabric breathes very easily. When exercising regardless of the weather, I only wore my dryfit hybrid combat sweater because I knew I was going to be warm even in the cold temperatures. A little advice if your fabric starts to give off odors, wash your clothes and add salt and vinegar and you will be very surprised with the results.
Or even exposed to the sun, UV rays will simply kill bacteria. Most of the time, I wear dryfit clothes, because I love the fabric for its technical qualities and the comfort it offers me. For people who will say that polyester is not a natural fiber and that it carries dangers in wearing it and that if burnt the fabric sticks to the skin and will increase the speed of consumption. While the Cotton makes it a natural fiber and will not stick to the skin.
-Honestly, what are the chances of this kind of situation happening to you?
-I prefer to be comfortable and comfortable and do my job properly without worrying about IF EVER!
